Precision was the first listing that came up when my wife did an online search. Ian Preston was the service tech. He arrived on time (actually a day earlier than our original schedule), did the inspection, and presented me with 3 options varying in depth of repair. We chose the most extensive option which supposedly carries a 5 year warranty with you folks. I am still awaiting the promised email detailing what was done to resolve the issue and identifying the components that were replaced, and any other actions that were performed. Ian was very courteous and professional, and performed the service speedily, and with a fully functional garage door for us! Very pleased. Bob Cowgill

Very happy with Precision Garage Door. Called them Friday 1/23/26 due to a pulley going bad. They were able to schedule me for the next day. Caleb arrived on time, inspected the door, tracks, cables and springs. Within minutes he was able to provide me with 4 different options based on the inspection. Caleb went right to work on changing the old spring/cable system to a torsion spring. I was unable to be home until the repair was completed but received a phone call from Caleb stating he had finished. Upon arriving home, I was very happy with the job that was done. Caleb was very knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. I would highly recommend this company for all your garage door repairs.

Service was exceptional. Called on Thursday and Friday I had a new garage door opener. Precision texted to let me know my technician was on his way and Zeke called when he was 30 minutes out. Zeke is an excellent technician and very clear in explaining your options and their advantages/disadvantages. He explained how long the job would take and was efficient in the dismantling and installation of the equipment. Called around for repair of broken door spring on 20+ yr. old door on our Northern Michigan home and Precision quickly connected us to the right people for our area within minutes and set up an evening appointment so we wouldn't have to take a day off of work. The guys determined that the old spring couldn't be replaced, so we needed a new torsion cable, springs, rollers, etc. which also meant the old opener needed replacing. They actually had a choice of openers on their truck to choose from so everything was installed in a matter of hours! They also checked our door, and said for a 20+ yr. old door it works fine, only needs a seal. I appreciate that they didn't try to pressure us into buying a new door. The guys were prompt, courteous, respectful, and cleaned up everything after the install and advised us on simple maintenance. When it's time for a new door I will definitely call Precision Garage Door of Central Michigan. If I could give 10 stars I would, your company is AWESOME!

I needed a part for a CHI door and Precision carried them as I found from their website. Set up an appointment and they came out and adjusted my door and the strut at no charge and gave me a quote for an opener. I decided to have them install the opener. The service tech, Ivan gave me all my options, explained them, advantages of each and provided no pressure. He had the parts on the truck and completed the install within a couple hours. Explained everything for operation and maintenance of the door and opener. Fair price and great service. Would recommend them to anyone!

Wow, amazing Zeke was in and out in less than hour. Nice young man, he programed the garage door opener again to both doors, and programed my new car to work with both doors, and put a panel on the door so we can use a code to get in and out without a key. The cable was loose on one side of the door. The bar at the top was a split bar which may or may not have caused the problem but precision garage door replace the bar. With that said the service was very professional and prompt. We were notified about the appointment and every step of the way. We will use them again and will recommend them to other people we know.
